]]>For my preparation, I relied on a few resources. Here’s some of the books I used.
Additionally, I practiced regularly with Anki for spaced repetition and used Benkyo to study new Kanji.
The results won’t be out until March, but I found the test overall quite challenging! I felt more confident with the first section on grammar and Kanji, but the listening part was definitely tough. Despite that, it was a valuable experience. Regardless of whether I pass, I’m determined to keep learning and use this as a guide to identify the areas where I need to focus more effort!
]]>The main goal of the prototype was to remove the action sidebar and design a more cohesive and streamlined project management interface. This approach aimed to improve the overall user experience by simplifying navigation and creating a layout more commonly seen in file managers.
After some feedback in the proposal, I also developed a compact version of the UI as you can see in the screenshot below.

July 2023, my friend and I embarked on a wonderful three-week adventure through Japan. Our journey was a round trip, commencing and concluding in Tokyo. Along the way, we explored destinations such as Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Nagoya, before finally returning to Tokyo.
We also took a few day trips out to places like: Nara, Hakone, Kanagawa, Itsukushima and Universal Studios in Osaka!
]]>I maintained the core application that streamlined case tracking, client data management and reporting, ensuring that our solutions could handle the high volume of users across the country.
By automating parts of the case management process and improving data handling, we enabled the organisation to better serve the public while scaling to meet increased demand for the service.
As part of the development team, I helped build the user interface for Couchbase Capella. My work involved creating a responsive, intuitive, and user-friendly interface.
This included designing components, optimising performance, and interacting with the backend services.
It was awarded Best Cloud Data Management Solution at the 2023-2024 Cloud Awards.
I worked mainly on the frontend, building responsive interfaces using Angular, AngularJS, and RxJs.
It required efficient interfaces to handle large datasets and real-time operations.
The application served as a collaborative platform where students could form quizzes, and answer them in a ‘round-robin’ fashion.
We developed a platform to simplify bookkeeping and financial management. It provides users with tools for managing transactions, generating financial reports, and tracking expenses.
We used Ruby on Rails for the backend, ensuring efficient management of financial data and user transactions. I worked on implementing features such as automated transaction categorisation, real-time financial reporting and developing user-friendly interfaces.
We used React for the frontend, creating an interface that simplifies data entry and provides clear, actionable feedback. The application features interactive elements that guide users through the risk assessment process.
